Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

We offer a variety of services that involve diseases affecting the neuromuscular system. As part of the University Pain Care center we are geared to evaluate and treat both acute and chronic pain.

Our doctors have a special interest in low back pain, spinal injuries and neuropathic injuries. We have onsite physical therapy and athletic trainers through the Wellness Center and work very closely with the Orthopedic and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine physicians to provide a comprehensive approach to pain management.

Our rehabilitation program serves patients who have suffered from a stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and MS. We provide the latest treatments for spasticity such as botox and nerve blocks. We also evaluate and provide amputees with prosthetics and orthotics. Both subacute and acute rehabilitation services are offered at Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital, and subacute rehabilitation services at Silver Care, Health Care Center and St. Mary's Center. We offer both rehabilitation and pain management consultation at Kennedy and Virtua Health Care Centers.
